Saint Mary’s Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine Center is operated in partnership with the National Healing Corporation, one of the most comprehensive wound healing companies in the United States. National Healing Corporation has earned the Joint Commission’s Disease-Specific Care Certification for wound care. Its partner is Ohio State University, which operates the largest institute dedicated solely to wound healing. Saint Mary’s multidisciplinary panel of physicians and wound care nurses attend advanced wound care and hyperbaric training at the university.

Saint Mary’s Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine Center has the fifth highest heal rate in the Northeast, among a total of 17 centers, according to Gary Collesian, Director. The center’s current heal rate is 94 percent of all patients, well above the benchmark of 83 percent set by National Healing Corporation.
